Participate in ALEs

The Center for Educational Excellence encourages students to get involved through Applied Learning Experiences (ALEs) in order to become better prepared for the real-world after graduation.

By successfully completing three ALEs in at least two of the ALE areas, students will receive ALE cords of distinction to wear at graduation. Students participating in ALEs also graduate with a strong e-portfolio to aid in pursuing a job or graduate school.

Attention Summer/Fall 2023 Graduates:

Any student needing to confirm ALE status for Summer or Fall 2023 graduation should submit the following information via email ([email protected]):

• Full Name
• UID (000XXXXXX)
• Titles, or course names, and instructors for the ALEs in question (when possible)

Please allow our staff up to 5 business days to process your ALE verification request. Once ALE status is verified, students who successfully completed a minimum of 3 ALEs will receive notification of completion via email and will receive their cord prior to graduation.
