This state-of-the-art facility delivers hands-on experience in both newsgathering and broadcasting. In this unique 'learning lab' environment, you will collaborate with peers in real-world situations to meet daily deadlines, compile and edit news stories, and produce both radio and TV broadcasts on a regular basis.
Become a part of the The Texan Television News program, a student-run news station that produces broadcasts from the O.A. Grant Building right here on campus. Students who work for this fast-paced, fully operational news station will gain real-world experience in creating and delivering news to the Tarleton, Stephenville, and Cross Timbers communities.
Join the Texan News Service (TNS), a student-run news team that delivers news for the Cross Timbers region of Texas. Produce both online and print newspapers using writing and photojournalism skills learned in our hands-on courses. Through these mediums, our students update the Tarleton and Cross Timbers communities with the most current information and news.
