Overview

The concentration in higher education leadership is designed to prepare professionals for expertise in leadership across college and university campuses, addressing critical issues facing postsecondary education in public policy, governance, finance, law, and student services.

You will examine higher education from a number of perspectives as you develop leadership skills for career enhancement and advancement:

  • Understanding the development of higher education as crucial global institution
  • Developing leadership on college and university campuses;
  • Examining state and federal policies and processes applied to higher education;
  • Exploring factors influencing budgeting and budget decisions; and
  • Identifying best practices in student services.

Believe it or not, our alumni tell us that graduation day has a tendency to sneak up on you. Before you know it, you’ll have completed 30 hours of master’s-level coursework.
