Welcome to the Department of Educational Leadership and Technology

We provide advanced education for you to excel as a leader in educational administration.

Our master’s and doctoral degrees and principal and superintendent certification programs are tailored to meet your needs as a busy professional.

  • Our online Master of Education in educational administration  prepares you for educational leadership, with concentrations in EC-12 principalship certification, higher education leadership and educational technology leadership.
  • Our online principal certification program gives campus-level leaders an opportunity for certification through the post-master’s principal certification only program. This aligns with Texas Education Agency standards.
  • Our Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program develops leaders for K-12 or higher education. We blend face-to-face and online instruction. You complete 63 credits, including dissertation, in three years as part of a cohort, enhancing completion rates.
  • Our post-master’s Superintendent Certification program provides an online learning experience with executive meetings via zoom, videos, etc., through Canvas. Five courses (15 credits) are offered. Students are encouraged to attend statewide Texas Association of School Administrators events to enhance their leadership capacity.
