Study Away/Abroad

The Department of Educational Leadership & Technology has planned several short-term study away and study abroad opportunities. These trips are designed to help students develop a deeper understanding of educational leadership.

As part of EDAD 6330 Educational Governance and Policy, each summer doctoral students complete a one week-long trip to Washington, D.C., where they experience face to face interactions with federal legislators, lobbyists, bureaucrats, and organizations focusing on all levels of educational improvement across the country.
