Since 2014, students participating in the Biomedical Living Learning Community have retained at the University at a higher rate than their peers. This Living Learning Community encompasses majors ranging from Biological Sciences to all Pre-Professional programs.

This Living Learning Community specifically supports those majoring in any of the Engineering Technology majors such as Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

The Biomedical Living Learning Community members are students being prepared to develop skills for a career as a professional biologist, biology educator, research analyst, and so much more. Specific support areas include, Aquatic Ecology, Environmental, General/Undecided, Molecular, Life Science with Teacher Certification, Science with Teacher Certification, Wildlife Biology. Additionally, these students may also have interest in, Pre-Dental/Pre-Medical, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Physical Therapy or Pre-Veterinary.
