New Incoming and Transfer Housing

Explore our beautiful and modern on-campus housing options, then find the meal plan that is right for you.

Before You Apply

Tarleton supports a two year live on-campus requirement for new incoming students (freshmen) including transfer students with less than 12 credit hours, including students with AP and dual-credit.

Transfer students with credit hours between 12-59 have a 1 year live-on requirement.

Transfer students with credit hours above 60 are not required to live on-campus.

Please review Tarleton State University’s housing policies for more information regarding live on-requirements and off-campus eligibility.

Students who meet the requirements while in an academic year Housing Contract will be required to fulfill the remainder of the academic year’s contract.

What educational and social programming will you be exposed to as a resident of campus housing?

Residence Life facilitates a rich, meaningful program curriculum for students living on campus in a Academic and Career Engagement (ACE) Community. Campus programming includes discussion forums and conversations, enrollment in a first year experience course, residence hall activities, passive programs and university events. First-year students experience a different residential program curriculum than second-year and above students.
