Michael Warren Wins Award at the 2021 SSMA Annual Convention

One of the sessions in the 2021 School Science and Mathematics Association Convention, held virtually October 28-30, was a Three Minute Thesis – 3MT presentation:

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance. The three-minute thesis challenges students to consolidate their ideas and research discoveries so they can be presented concisely to a non-specialist audience. The competition included seven PhD students from across the country who presented their research in three minutes or less during the School Science and Mathematics Association 2021 Annual Conference.

Tarleton’s Michael Warren, PhD candidate at Baylor University, won the competition with his presentation titled “Teacher Noticing Skills of Expert MTEs in Content Courses for PSTs.”

Congratulations to Michael for his winning performance in this competitive event.
