STEPHENVILLE, Texas —Tarleton State University faculty and guest artists lead a full day of workshops as part of the annual Brass and Percussion Day, Saturday, March 2, in the auditorium of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. Admission is free to all events.
Hosted by the Department of Fine Arts and the university’s bands, the event features master classes, faculty showcases and opportunities for young musicians to work with professionals in a small-group environment.
Tarleton brass and percussion faculty will join forces with the Center Stage Brass Ensemble and guest artists Dr. Christopher Moore, trumpet; Dr. James Naigus, horn; Clay Garret, tuba; and Casey Cangelosi, percussion.
An all-star concert featuring guest clinicians and Tarleton faculty rounds out the day.
