STEPHENVILLE, Texas — The exhibition, Speculative Art + Design, opens Monday, Oct. 7, in the gallery of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center on the campus of Tarleton State University in Stephenville.

The free exhibition features works that tread the boundary between art and design — physical objects, playful furniture, tactile sculptures and imaginative typography — from female artists and designers Mia Cinelli, Alise Ochoa and Helen Caulfield.

These prestigious artist/designers have creative practices that span performance, fashion, ceramics, art direction and commercial production.

Speculative runs through Friday, Nov. 1. The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
