Tarleton Jazz II Ensemble hosts Eastland Jazz Band for concert

STEPHENVILLE, Texas —An evening of jazz favorites performed by the Tarleton State University Jazz II Ensemble and special guest, the Eastland High School Jazz Band, is set for 7:30 p.m., Saturday March 2, in the auditorium of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The Jazz II Ensemble’s set list includes pieces by Sammy Nestico, Stan Kenton, Chick Corea and Gordon Goodwin.

Stephen Cox will direct the Eastland High School Jazz band as it performs many of its favorite selections.
