STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University students, faculty and staff roll up their sleeves this Saturday, April 1, to help local residents with everything from cleaning windows to general lawn and garden work.

The 19th annual student-led, student-initiated project—Tarleton Round Up—kicks off a full week of activities that support the university’s core value of service and takes place in concert with Keep Stephenville Beautiful.

Last year, nearly 1,600 students, faculty and staff completed 155 projects. This year, more than 2,500 volunteers will tackle 250 jobs. Round Up also expands outside Stephenville to Tarleton’s outreach locations in Fort Worth, Waco and Midlothian.

Due to its popularity in past years, Round Up again provides recycling and document shredding services to the community. A drop-off will be available on the visitor’s side (Harbin Drive) parking lot of Memorial Stadium.

Volunteers and others interested in Round Up can follow the effort on social media and share stories and photos using #TarletonRoundUp.
