TACUSPA Selects Edwards as Director of Research

STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University’s Dr. Jennifer Edwards has been elected director of research for the Texas Association of College and University Student Personnel Administrators (TACUSPA). She will serve a two-year term beginning with TACUSPA’s annual fall conference in October.

A premier state association, TACUSPA is dedicated to the development, support and promotion of the student affairs profession in Texas.

In her new role with TACUSPA, Edwards will lead the Graduate Student Caucus and the Graduate Education and Research Committee as well as oversee a number of other initiatives.

Edwards serves as assistant vice president of Tarleton’s Student Success and Multicultural Initiatives and is executive director and founding member of the Texas Social Media Research Institute. She is an associate professor in the university’s Department of Communication Studies and editor of the Journal of Social Media in Society.
