Transition Week
August 12 – 17, 2022
T-Week begins with Move-In and continues through the first day of class. Required for all first-year students (residential and commuter), T-Week helps you make a successful transition into the academic and campus community.
T-Week is mandatory for all first time students (residential and commuter)
Transition Week Schedule
August 12 – 14
- Move in weekend for residential students. You will receive an email from [email protected] with your move in date and time.
- Available Weekend Services- Financial Aid, Scholarships, Business Services, Veteran Services, Texan Card
Sunday August 14
- COMMUTERS: 7:30 pm T-Week Check-In, Thompson Student Center Ballrooms
- On-CAMPUS RESIDENTS: 8:00 pm Residential Hall Meeting
- 9:00 pm – T-Week Kick Off Rally
Monday August 15
- 9:30 am – 5:00 pm- T-Week programming, Academic Advising and TSI Assessment will be available
Tuesday August 16
- 9:25 am – 10:40 am- First Year Seminar Class
- 11:00 am – 5:00 pm- T-Week programming, TSI Assessment and Class Schedule Tours will be available
Wednesday August 17
- 9:00 am – 5:00 pm- T-Week programming, Academic Advising will be available
- 8:00 pm- Convocation and Candle Lighting Ceremony
Commuter Students
Even though you are not living on campus, this week will prove invaluable in helping you get acclimated to the Tarleton campus culture. You will network with your fellow classmates, faculty and staff, make lifelong friendships, discover the tools for academic achievement, and get plugged in to Tarleton organizations!
Students who are not living on campus in the fall will check-in for T-Week in the Thompson Student Center Ballrooms. Commuter students will receive a Transition Week Guide upon check-in.
