If your degree requires additional lower-level courses, some may be available online, but you may also need to complete courses at another institution and transfer them to Tarleton. Financial Aid Consortiums with Tarleton’s community college partners are available to assist with the cost of dual enrollment.

  • If you are core complete at another Texas public college or university, you will be considered core complete at Tarleton
  • Maximum of 90 credit hours can be applied to a 120-credit hour bachelor’s degree

Professional completion degrees at Tarleton recognize your existing knowledge through professional training, certifications, and technical coursework. Whether your career started with military specialization, a technical program, career training, or professional certification, Tarleton recognizes that higher education happens outside the classroom.  These types of training can account for credit hours within these degree programs. The hours and types of training will be evaluated to determine the number of college credits earned.  Our programs will equip students with the necessary skills for academic advancement and success in today’s competitive workplace.

During the session, we will review Tarleton transfer requirements, programs offered, frequently asked questions, academic advising, financial aid, scholarships and more. These virtual sessions are available to students that are interested in attending any of our campus locations.
