Health Professions Advisory Committee
At Tarleton State University, all Pre-Med students are strongly encouraged to apply through the Health Pre-Professional Advisory Committee in order to generate an HPAC Letter of Evaluation to accompany your application to medical school.
The purpose of the HPAC is to prepare you to the best of our ability to apply to medical school. In order to compete for the limited number of openings at each school, the following committee process and activities are available.
The first step is to submit your Intent to Apply by the deadline. You are required to participate in three info-sessions to adequately prepare you to apply to medical school. Below are the upcoming deadlines and Info-Sessions.

January 28: Info Session – The Application
February 4: Info Session – The Personal Statement
February 11: Info Session – The Interview
Feb 10 – March 31: Schedule Your Mock Interview
March 29: HPAC Packet Due
April 30: HPAC Interview Day
May 1: HPAC Interview Day
May 31: MCAT/DAT Scores Due
