Tarleton-sponsored study aboard opportunities will be considered via standard approval processes. The university continues to monitor the global impact of COVID-19 and will adjust study abroad programming as needed.
The A&M System has lifted the international travel moratorium; however, requests to visit countries considered an extreme risk for non-virus reasons will continued to be denied.
International travel to CDC Level 4 COVID-19 countries may be deemed mission critical on a case-by-case basis. A foreign travel request must be approved by the university’s president or his designee.
The System highly recommends COVID-19 vaccination prior to all international travel, and employees must follow CDC protocols upon their return to the U.S. If quarantine is required by U. S. State Department or other agency upon return this should be discussed with your direct supervisor or Employee Services before departure.
Tarleton employees are required to follow CDC international travel recommendations whether or not they have been vaccinated.
