College Scholarships and Grants

Most of our students — 80% — receive financial aid, including over $9 million in Tarleton and private college scholarships each year. We help students find, apply for and manage scholarship funding from a variety of sources to increase the value and affordability of your college education.

How to Apply for Scholarships

Fill out our Online General Scholarship Application, and submit your official high school or college transcripts, as well as your SAT/ACT college exam scores. More than 500 different Tarleton awards are provided through this one application.

After submitting your General Scholarship Application online, you will automatically be matched with any of the college scholarships in our system that you qualify for, based on the information you provide. You do not have to apply for each scholarship individually. The scholarship application opens August 1 each year, and you must have an active admissions application on file to access it with your preferred email address after receiving your student ID number. Since many college scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, we encourage you to apply for admission and college scholarships early.
