Professional Development Grants
Staff Senate offers professional development grants up to $250 for Tarleton State University staff members. Grants are awarded for enhancing and developing career-related skills for activities like certifications, training, webinars, conferences, travel to professional meetings and workshops, and to bring speakers for departmental or cross-disciplinary seminars or workshops. Grant applications should be submitted at least six weeks prior to the event or activity. Applications received less than six weeks prior may not have sufficient time for review. The grant may not be used to fund the following: salaries (except for speaker and workshop presenter honorariums), equipment purchase, research, or academic courses.
